This is an extensive course that will teach you how to make your own beautiful fingerprint jewellery. The course is designed primarily for those who are looking to start a fingerprint jewellery business but could also be taken if you just want to make a piece for yourself.
Bonus content includes how to solder accessories such as cufflink backs to your silver clay charms and how to take great photos of your finished jewellery.
In order to get started you will need a few tools and materials.
You will need some 999 fine silver clay such as Art Clay or PMC3

This is the bare minimum of materials you will need, you will also see some other tools used in my videos which are optional and just make life a little easier. Don't feel that you need to buy absolutely everything all at once, I have many tools that I use for various things but I have gathered them in my tool box over a number of years!
What are the different brands of silver clay?
What's the difference between fine silver and sterling silver?

Learn how to handle the wet clay, roll it perfectly evenly and add your fingerprint or handprint impression.
You can also add optional personalisation at this stage.
Cut and shape your clay using cutters.
Once you have done that, your clay needs to dry. I will discuss different options for drying including air drying (no equipment necessary), oven drying, hot plate and dehydrators.
